William Rose, Jr.
Dr. Rose is currently President of the Rose Consulting Company, a firm dedicated to assisting Domestic and International Companies in Aerospace Design and Manufacturing. Other areas of expertise include Strategic Planning and Execution Efficiency.
In this role, Bill leads a group that provides leadership in identifying opportunities and defining solutions to enhance program performance and assessing technical solutions for industrial cooperative programs including conducting international capability surveys.
Bill recently retired from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (formerly General Dynamics Fort Worth Division) after 32 years and has held a wide variety of positions in program management, engineering, manufacturing, product management and marketing including a two-year assignment in Brussels, Belgium in a production and industrial engineering capacity.
Dr. Rose graduated from Texas Tech University in 1976 with a BBA, University of Dallas in 1983 with an MBA and the University of North Texas in 1988 with a Ph.D. in Management and Production Operations. He is also a Professor in the Engineering Department at Texas Christian University (TCU), teaching Project Management and Economics. He has also taught Organizational Theory in the Business School at TCU. Bill was an Advisory Board Member for the Information Technology & Decision Sciences College of Business Administration at the University of North Texas from 2004 to 2009.
Bill has held several offices and been a member of numerous professional and community organizations including the American Production and Inventory Control Society, Southern Management Association, Society of Automotive Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Colonial Country Club, Sigma Iota Epsilon Honorary Management Fraternity, Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, Fort Worth Civic Leaders Association, and serving on the Vestry and Endowment Board for All Saints Episcopal Church.
Bill married his wife Susan, an attorney at Linbeck Construction Company in 1986 and resides in Fort Worth, Texas. They have a daughter, Elizabeth, an Auburn University graduate and a son, Will, a Texas Tech University graduate.
